As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.
Before the tenancy starts
Holding Deposit to reserve the property: 1 week’s rent
Deposit: 5 weeks’ rent where the annual rent is less than £50,000, or 6 weeks’ rent where the total annual rent is £50,000 or above
During the tenancy
To change the tenancy: £50, or reasonable costs incurred if higher
Default fees for late payment of rent and replacement of a lost key/security device
During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable
Utilities – gas, electricity, water
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax
Other permitted payments
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
