The year is coming to its end and what a year it’s been! Following the uncertainty of 2020 when the property market froze for several months, 2021 became the year of new opportunities. Residential sales and prices hit new records driven by Stamp Duty Holiday and its extension. It was followed by the boom in the rental market in summer and autumn. The retail real estate market continued to surprise us with new formats, and by the middle of the year, commercial real estate and offices bounced back, too.
On the eve of the festive season, we are taking time to reflect on the main events of the departing year. In 2021, AZ Real Estate turned nine and it has become the landmark point for us in many ways. Our team grew to 8 people; our clients, deals and partner network expanded.
We sold a house remotely, we sourced the UK HQ for a global investment company and acquired a retail unit for another commercial client. We set our own record for the number of real estate transactions.
Even more was going on behind the scenes. As part of the internal project Humans of AZ, we worked with Modern Mind Group to enhance our team performance and develop a strong training framework. We now have the platform for the team’s learning and self-development. With brilliant branding consultants from Herd, we have defined our values and formulated a new branding strategy. We polished business processes in place and are now scaling up.
In the spirit of giving back, we raised £435 by hosting the Brilliant Breakfast in October, together with The Office Group. The money went to the Prince’s Trust helping women and young people.
None of this would be possible without you: our clients, partners, colleagues. Thank you and please bring us more work in 2022!
